Cost Data Content
The cost data either in Master Estimate or Flip Book format was authored & developed from first principles by HCI Cost Data Limited. The unit rates are based on a detailed rollup of crews, including labor and equipment, production rates and material rates. The estimate assemblies within these files are generic only and based on typical common practice found in the construction industry. Production rates & resource rates including labor, equipment and material are highly variable. The assumptions made for these rates are included with the Basis of Estimate documents included with the online Flip Books.

While HCI Cost Data Limited have diligently provided this construction cost data in good faith, we cannot provide a guarantee as to the accuracy of the information. Actual completed construction costs are based on factors over which HCI has no control. We hereby disclaim any liability or responsibility for the use of the cost data.

You agree not to reproduce, distribute, disseminate, publish, broadcast or sell this information to other parties without the expressed written consent of HCI Cost Data Limited. HCI grants the user the right to edit or copy the Master Estimate data within their estimating software in connection with the preparation of their cost estimates.

Sales Tax
HCI Cost Data Limited charges Canadian Goods & Services Tax (HST/GST) to Canadian purchasers only. No other sales taxes are charged.
Online Subscription to View Flip Books
Registration, Password and Security
If any portion of our site requires you to open an account or create or change a username or password, you are required to maintain the confidentiality of the password and the account. The account and password are for your use only and cannot be shared. The security of your information is important to us. The Master Estimate files are provided in HeavyBid (HCSS) format.

Delivery & Licensing Term
You will receive an e-mail within 24 hours of your purchase, Monday through Friday, with links to download your purchased HeavyBid estimate backup files. You must restore these files within your estimating software. The files may or may not require a password to open. If they do require a password, one will be provided. The files have no time restriction. All sales are final.
Estimate File Updates
Future updated files or new files are sold separately and not included in this initial purchase price.
Third Party Software
We will make every effort to make sure the data is compatible with HeavyBid from HCSS software © (2024) Heavy Construction Systems Specialists LLC. Users should endeavor to keep their software updated as the estimate files may not be accessed using older versions of the software. Users should contact HCSS directly regarding the purchase, support and updates for their software.
